  1. When a persons Blood sugar gets too low..they will pass out..you usually will hear a snoring type of respirations.....low blood sugar is easier to fix then when somebody's sugar gets too high.. Now when the bgl ( blood glucose level) is high it is called diabetic ketoacidosis. untreated DKA is fatal. low Bgl is a lot easier to fix.  Normal bgl rates are between 80-120, but this can vary depending on the person...

Usually most diabetics can tell when their sugar is too high or too low. Im not a diabetic but i can tell when my sugar level gets too low...

  2. too much sugar = hyperglycemia. sometimes you dont realize you're high, depending on how severe it is. if they get high enough, like super super high (which isnt common) they could go into diabetic coma.

not enough sugar = hypoglycemia. you'll usually feel tired, but cant sleep. i get blurred vision and dizzy sometimes when i'm low.

i dont think it comes on very fast, considering that it takes 30 minutes or more for glucose to go back up, so it would only make sense that it takes the same amount of time for them to go down, no?

and i dont think you'd die if you slept with abnormal sugar levels...because you'd probably wake up and notice. like if im really low, i toss and turn and i get a cold sweat and theres no way i could sleep like that.

  3. If a diabetic has too much sugar, his blood sugar readings are abnormally high. It can cause anxiousness, headaches, a general feeling of illness.  If a diabetic has too little sugar, they may have a hypoglycemic episodes, or also known as low blood sugar.  This can cause cold sweats, shaking, tiredness, sleepiness,  nausea, confusion, dry mouth or having too much saliva, blurry vision, eventually coma, and can even lead to death.

  4. If they have to much they will probably pass out. It is possible for them to go into a coma. It is hard to say if they will wake up or not. It depends on how long they have gone with to much sugar. If they have to little they will have their own way of reacting.
