Just wondering :]

Not an acoustic, put an unplugged electric guitar. Also what happens to the strings. Are all guitars like that?

  1. It wouldn't ruin it, but if it stayed wet, the metal parts (that aren't stainless steel) would rust. It might warp the wood some, especially if it's unpainted. It just depends on the guitar.

  2. Its not going to short out or anything since its not connect to a power source (unless you have active electronics in it of course.)  Probably bad for the finish, might warp the wood and oxidize some medal.

  3. Not sure, but my guess is it probably wouldn't work to well. I'd highly recommend NOT plugging it in.
