I would imagine you'd be given a few days grace to leave but according to this, once your visa expires or is withdrawn you would be considered to be in the Republic of Ireland illegally and expected to remove yourself voluntarily, if you don't go voluntarily you can be arrested and deported - although it doesn't say so in the link, I would imagine they would also stamp your passport to say you had been thrown out of the country.
