I lost my job in Ohio and was evicted four years ago. The landlord died last month.

  1. i guess everything stays how it is

  2. The judgment would become part of the landlord's estate. Whether the heirs take action on the judgment is up to them (they might not even know about it). I don't believe anyone can proceed with garnishment proceedings since that's something the landlord would have had to do four years ago.

Judgments do expire in some jurisdictions and must be revived. I don't know what the legal requirements are in Ohio, but you could easily check.
