What happens when new hair grows after a japanese straight perm?

I have wavy hair. When new hair grows would it be wavy on top and straight everywhere else? Has this ever happened to you?

It really depends on your hair type to be honest, i got a japanese perm a month ago and its started growing out but at the moment its ok and only noticable around my face which takes a second to straighten. The rest of my hair has more volume now though as when i first had the perm it was pretty flat, tbh it looks better now.

    My hair is really curly though, if your hair is only wavy the roots may be pulled straight by the weight of your hair and it make take longer for the regrowth to be noticable (when it is just get your roots done). I'm planning to get mine done in about 4-5 months but you might be able to leave it longer.

    The only way to tell is to get it done though. gd luck! xx


  2. it will take a few months 4 this 2 happen cause even though u have wavy hair ur roots r usually straight so it will take about 3-4 months b 4 u even c a sign of wave in ur hair and if it looks that bad after a couple more months u just have a root perm
