  1. The country is demolished.

  2. very simple, pollution will be increased,

  3. the temperature goes to 1000degree

  4. that would depend on what kind of bomb it is.

    A-bombs (fission bombs)

lets start with the A-bomb, the atom bomb, these were of the type used to bomb hiroshima and nagasaki. these types of nuclear bombs, contain 2 seperate cores or enriched uranium in a funnel or tube. with explosives on either end. when the explosives are detonated. the cores are squished together. and the total amount of uranium combined. will exceed what we call critical mass. This is the amount of uranium youd need to automatically start a chain reaction. this youtube shows how this reaction works quite well.

becuase this reaction is uncontrolled (unlike in a powerplant, where they regulate the speed) it goes faster and faster and faster. so much heat and energy (radiation) is created. that the air is superheated. which makes it expand to such a degree that a shockwave blasts out. the radiation also flashes out and irradiates about everything in 3 kilometers. this radiation is strong enough to instantly set trees and buildings ablaze. as you can see in this movie of an american A-bomb test.

this was the result in hiroshima (warning, you might find these shocking)

absolutely horrid. at hiroshima, some of survivors of the blast, threw themselves into the rivers to escaped from the pain of radiation burns. rivers were riddled with corpses.

    H-Bomb (fusion bombs)

then there is the hydrogin bomb. luckily these have not yet been used against people yet. the last one detonated was the Tsar Bomb. 1961 (if im correct). The blastwave of this bomb circumvented the globed 3 times (im not exaggerating)

these bombs work slightly different. they also have a core of radiocative material. this is set off to a chain reaction just like an a bomb. however. added to the bomb, is a reserve of hydrogin (the simplest element) The heat and energy created in the chainreaction, is enough to heat and crush the hydrogin to such a degree that it starts nuclear fusion (the reaction in the sun, where 2 hydrogin atoms become 1 helium atom) the power generated by the fusion is so much higher than that of an A-bomb, that you could probably blow up a small country with it.

this is an H-bomb detonating in the atmosphere over nova scotia (russia, 1961)

if you look closely in the first few seconds, youll see that there are 2 explosions. the fission reaction followed by the fusion reaction.

  5. simple if u r there u ll die  ....

  6. the world would end

  7. cockroaches will survive and will take over the world

  8. e=mc2

    every thing burns up

  9. Mr Zwink was not quite correct about the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Fat Man, dropped on Nagasaki, was a Plutonium implosion-type bomb, while Little Boy, dropped on Hiroshima, was Uranium, or gun-type.

Also, his description of the fusion bomb, H-bomb (or better known as thermonuclear) is technically incorrect.  Hydrogen is not used as the fusing material.  Maybe he means deuterium or tritium.  If you want a better description, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teller-Ulam... under basic principles.
