  1. There are numberous answers, depending on a numberous of unstated factors.

Depending on the pollutants if they are volatile, they will evaporate before the water, if no wind, there will be a barrier slowing the evaporation of H2O.  A cloud of volatiles make for a more dangerous situation.

If the pollutants are heavier than water and in a pool, then they settle to the bottom, if poisonous then the ground will be poisoned.

Between the two examples, are a number of outcomes in which the chemical and biologicals facters must be considered.

  2. the pH levels in the air rises, causing acidic moisture to fall in the forms in any state of matter except plasma(acid rain).

  3. It goes through the water cycle and falls back to the earth in the form of acid rain. Then it kills plants and harms animals and so forth. Then the cycle repeats. So don't pollute! Haha. But also, some of the pollution is left behind when the water evaporates.

  4. yes

  5. the water (pure water, not the muck) evaporates and the pollution stays where it was.

  6. Usually the pollution is left behind on the ground.

  7. turns into dirty clouds and if its dirty enough it will become acid rain  :]

  8. im sure it either filters out...or maybe it pollutes the air??

    =]

    ILYtiera

  9. WATER EVAPORATES AND LEAVES THE POLLUTANTS BEHIND.

  10. acid rain which can turn into contaminated run off or groundwater

  11. acid rain

  12. It depends what it is polluted with. Some particles in water are just left behind like with salt water, the salt is left. But other times it is taken up with it and produces acid rain.

  13. the pollutens stay behind. Acid rain is clouds mixing with gaseous pollution

  14. Pollution rises when it stays there and microscopic particles of the pollution become airbourne and causes allergies, skin conditions etc.

  15. polluted rain and clouds/sky

  16. acid rain comes down instead of the normal rain

  17. the polluted things stay there.

  18. I get a ring around my bath tub!

No, I think most of the pollution remains as a residue or deposit, but some elements do become airborne with the evaporated water, hence acid rain.

  19. Legionnaire's disease?

  20. with very few exceptions the pollution is left encrusted on the ground.. polluting the land..
