What happens when someone says they called the cops last night and are pressin charges?

You didn't specify what this was about, so that makes a big difference.  For example, on a noise complaint, the officers might just make a phone call.  

But for vandalism, as another example, assuming the person can make a clear ID, you may get a court summons in the mail.  Your parents would have to attend (at least one of them).

I'd say give it a week, if nothing happens you may have dodged a bullet.  Or failing that, go back and apologize for whatever you did.

umm..... sometimes the next day or within a couple of min. most times people say that and they really dont they just say it to scare u and to have there way .
