What happens when the Arctic Sea, where the North Pole is, melts by 2050 & becomes another Salty Water Sea?

Well the north pole would melt and become another salt water sea for one. Oh, and that northern shipping route would be open, well at least in the summer. Other than that not much else. Oh we couldn't stick our nation's flag in the ice, it would sink and join the one Russia has on the ocean floor.
