What happens when u put a magnet next to an electric outlet?

If nothing's plugged in, not a lot.  The magnet might stick to the outlet if there's any iron in the structure (the s***w in the middle of the plate is often magnetic).

A bare outlet has no current flowing through it, so there's no effect at all.  And if there is something plugged in, keep in mind that it's alternating current sloshing back and forth 60 times a second...the magnetic force won't really do much overall, since a push one way will be countered by a pull the other way 1/60th of a second later.
