I was in a very minor car accident a little over 2 weeks ago. We called the police, filed a report, etc. I didn't have my insurance card on me (I know, I know...bad), but I gave her my cell and home number, and told her to call me when it was convenient, and that I would call the insurance company and file the claim. I have gotten a copy of my card emailed to me, which i have saved. I haven't heard anything. I can't find her phone number (that I wrote down) anywhere!! Am I doing everything I can? I just want to make sure, that she doesn't pop up later and try to take me to court (she was very rude at the scene, and acted like she didn't think that I even HAD insurance). Would it be legal for her to do so? I know I sound paranoid, but I don't want this to come back and bite me in the a**.

  1. If she had no damage, she probably blew it off.  If more time goes by, you will be able to dispute any damage she has on her car if she files and there are huge dents that weren't there before.  Each day that goes by she is blowing it for herself if she wants her car fixed.
