What happens when you are late for work at mcdonalds?

It was my first time and it was about 6 minutes. I still new there so I dont know.

Most jobs allow you three errors or write ups. If you did not sign an official write up technically they can not fire you for something that was not acknowledged

My first day I worked our break room was being cleaned and I sat in the lobby for 2 hours not knowing what the time was.

I was so embarrassed.

But my manager just laughed at me.

Mcdonalds was really nice to me.

It helped me work hard there.

It would depend upon your manager, but if it is your first offense, then you will probably just get a warning. If you think you will be running late, always call ahead to let them know. If it becomes a habit, then there will be repurcussions, but an occassional (once or twice a year) tardy shouldn't be too bad, unless your manager is a stickler for tardiness.

it depends on who the manager is. some will let it go, if it was only six mins they probably wont do much. u can get written up for being late though but they usually give u 3 write ups before u can get fired.

If it was your first day they will understand, just dont make it a habit or there may be consequences

Well I don't think McDonalds is any different from any other place.They don't like it that you are late, but as long as you aren't habitually late I don't think you will be in trouble.
