  1. find funky stuff in your food lol.

  2. If your going to complain do it after you eat.

you dont want to eat a luggie

  3. They go to the kitchen out of your sight and do dirty and sick stuff to your food (you can see on TV some security videos of what really happens on the kitchen when you send back a dish to be fixed); so don't complain unless you plan to ask for a refund and leave.

  4. YOU MIGHT GET A FREE MAL BUT THEY MIGHT DO SOMETHING GROSS OR NASTY!

  5. Nowadays you rarely get a comp'd meal.

You may get something taken off the bill or be offered drinks, app's or desserts.

If the complaint is not valid, you just get laughed at behind your back. I had a woman get upset because we didn't serve Espresso. I just made her aware that we are a Mexican restaurant and espresso is Italian. She then asked for a capuccino. I told her, a capuccino requires espresso so we're back to square one. Her complaint wasn't valid so I shared the tale with my co-workers and we just laughed at her.

If the complaint is valid, we just correct it immediately and try to get back in the beginning good graces so we can get a good tip. So complain all you want. We're gonna win you over to get your monies!

If your compaint rises to the level of disruption of the restaurant, you're pretty much asked to leave, then your name and description is spread around to fellow restaurants to be wary of you. Sounds bad but I've warned and been warned of certain people trying to scam. If you try to make another reservation or walk in trying to join us for dinner, you go onto a non-existant wait-list, where you are always last and the wait time is insanely long so you get frustrated about it and leave.

  6. It all depends on your attitude. And I'm serious too. I work as a waitress, and it depends on how the customer complains. If they are being idiots, then we'll find ways of charging you for every little thing you use. If you're nice about it, then we'll try to fix your food, or give you something else.

Us waitresses have our ways without you even knowing. Basically it's the charging of food. We're not going to add on food prices, but everything within legal limit we will.

Say you get a refill on your soda. Since our menu doesn't say free refills, then we will charge you for every one. If you complain about the eggs, but you eat the toast, we'll charge you for the toast. Smart waitresses know how to handle complainers!!!!

  7. depends on what you complain about.

If you have a valid complaint..write down the time and how many in your party, how much your check was and what the problem was. I have gotten free food, free night at a hotel complementry brunch from hotels.

Or people say 'whatever' and don't come back.  Depends on the resturant and how much they wish to keep thier customers

  8. If its a good restaurant they will fix the problem immedietly

  9. they will immediately and proffesionally handle your complaint and adjust your bill as a goodwill gesture.depending on the circumstances,it is possible your meal will be free.chain restaurants (casual dining) are quick to try to earn back your business.just as sure as that..................NOBODY is going to spit on any food,or make any attempt to ruin your meal.kitchen managers as well as floor managers would NEVER tolerate any  such criminal behavior.it is an urban legend that this goes on.30 yrs in this business..............ive never SEEN or heard that a returned meal was messed with.it would be suicide to commit a crime while being paid to earn your paycheck.and its just not ever gonna be that personal.............that you have to HATE a guest that much.

  10. it depends if it its a gross eror they will often fix and maybe give u free food if ur nitpicking u may get spat in fod i thinks thats more myth. Also depens on whether u say excuse could u pls fix this or be like yo ***** this sucks

  11. It depends on how what the complaint is. Undercooked food, missing ingredients. They will usually bring you out a new plate and if you complain enough they will most likely Comp. your meal. Which is kinda of BS because there are people who purposely go into resturants and plan on complaining beforehand just to get a free meal.

And the thing about cooks or servers spitting in peoples food..its not a myth, ive actually seen a lot worse done to people who constantly complain.

  12. Many things:

1.) You get a free meal (sometimes it's discounted, sometimes nothing happens)

2.) People get angry at you (when it's busy)

3.) The Restaurant hates you from then on

    4.) You feel great.
