you become with drawn and try to avoid personal contact, you can learn to fight back or how to run fast, your choice.  Or you can let the authority's stop it, which is probably the best way.

i used to get beat up alot , because my dad was a cop , since then i join the air force and became special forces, and its neat to see people change around you and respect you because you join an elite group , try it you can do it .

I used to get beat up occasionally and my Mom told me to start punching people right in the nose.  But it's gotta be a quick jab not enough to break it.  The nose bleeds their eyes water and then they left me alone.  Of couse it helped that it happened on the bus so everyone else got to witness it, so they learned to leave me alone.  But things are different these days and violence isn't tolerated, but if they are already hitting you that's a good place to start.
