  1. Just wait for now... when you get the interview notice, have your wife added to your visa application, so she can come with you.

  2. you continue with your life and wait and hope that they give you a number.

  3. If your father is Permanent Resident, you loose your petition.

If your father is US Citizen, your preference category change from FB1 to FB3.

That means your waiting time becomes longer, FB1 6 years, (except Mexico 16 years, Philippines 15 years) to FB3 8 years (except Mexico 16 years, Philippines 19 years).

  4. Call 1-800-375-5283.  Tell them you are on a K-4 Visa and since you are now married to a US citizen you would like to change to K-3.

Spousal Visas have no quotas like the others and you should be able to get a Visa in 6 months or so.  Ask them about it though because if your marriage doesn't work out you could be in for a long wait.

  5. if i remember correctly, if you get married the petition will be voided/cancelled or non valid (correct me if im wrong), NOT UNLESS your father is an american citizen, then you'd fall into the (family) third category which could mean a longer wait.

but since you're plannin on getting married, is he or she a citizen? if s/he is, then you'll become an immediate relative of a citizen and you'll be able to file I-130/I-485 and all that at the same time.

    good luck
