I have an appt next week and want to seen about clomid. I have my annual with my OB next month, but since I have a deductable that needs to be paid by the end of the year, which starts over again in Jan, want to get in to see him ASAP. Should I just let him give me my annual or will he even do that?

  1. Most specialist are regular Ob-Gyns also. My fertility doctor also performed my regular tests during my fertility treatments. Call the specialist's office and tell them your situation. They will most likely do your annual for you while you are there. Good Luck!

  2. Before I went to a specialist I saw my Ob/Gyn.  She asked me many questions about how long and the methods we had used when ttc.  She then took some blood to see what if anything is wrong.  Before you go to a specialist, it is better and cheaper to see your ob.  If all you need is clomid, because you are not ovulating, your ob can prescribe that to you.  She can also do your annual at the same time.

Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!
