What happens when you hit light speed?

We know that when you break the sound barier you get a sonic boom. So what would happen when you break the speed of light?

Time becomes slower (an she assumes that if u travel at the speed of light) so u get reflection of light at high wavelenght.

You have to distinguish between proper speed and relative speed. You can never observe a relative speed of material objects at or above the speed of light. So you cannot reach such a relative speed, unless you become made of light (radiation).

So your question turns into: what happen if I am transformed into light? I guess you are eternally alive then....

you can't break the speed of light.  there is a theoretical particle called a tachyon which is always faster then the speed of light and has never been slower.  According to theory time 'as we know it'  appears to be going backwards to these particles
