  1. Don't worry, it wont mold overnight. It should be just fine.

  2. nothing except they might come out cleaner from soaking.

  3. If the soap get rancid your clothes get acidic ends up with smelly clothes even how hard you wash-out with top water coz the bacteria has already proliferated it.

What I always do if that happens.  I have a big caserole on my last wash I put my clothes there and heat it with the fabric softerner so that the bacteria will die eventually.  I dont like the smell of bleaches and also it would just ruin the color of my clothes.

Then dry hang after see it smells so good.

I do it also on socks of my husband when it smells funny.

  4. nothing , no mold for a day..few days ...mold

  5. Just overnight? They'll be fine. There won't be enough time for them to go mouldy. The worst that can happened is the will be a bit cleaner from the extra soaking! Give the washing a good rinse and hang it out to dry.

(Been doing the washing for 30+ years both by hand and with a washing machine but never had a tumble dryer.)

  6. I let our washer full or clothes soak overnight once (our kitty had an accident in the laundry basket!). I completely forgot they were in there until the next morning.

Yes, depending on what's in there, you might have some fading, but other than that, I was successful in my soaking! Everything came out juuuust fine :)

  7. iF YOUR USING JUST DETERGENT THEN NOTHING .IT WILL DO THEM GOOD TO SOAK OVERNITE IF YOUR WASHING BY HAND ANYWAYS.

  8. depends some might fade

  9. Soaking is fine, but overnight is enough.  Take it to the laundramat and "get 'er done", lest they'll stink!

  10. Soaking your laundry overnight should not do much more than get them especially clean.  Unless you've added bleach to the mixture, you should just have some exceptionally clean clothes.  Just rinse thoroughly in the morning.  My Grams used to soak all her laundry, but ESPECIALLY her whites overnight and she had the cleanest stuff on the block and NEVER had any problems with any molding.  Good luck!
