What happens when you overdose on children's vitamins?

I just had about eleven of Bayer's Flintsones Multivitamins with added calcium.

So now what?

You HAVE to go get your somach pumped! I did that as a kid and that's what they had to do to me. If you get too much of something you can get REALLY sick.

i think u should drink a lot of water since some of vitamins (except A D E K) are soluble in water..so any excess in intake of vitamins can be excreted out from the body via urine..

frankly speaking any excess substance in body that cannot be utilize in the body might be toxic to body is not excreted out..

so for now..drink a lot of water and DO NOT repeat that again..

Do they have iron in them? If so, call poison control and ask what to do.

You are okay for now but You must always follow the proper directions of taking any medicine ( including vitamins ).

If You look carefully at the bottle of your multi-vitamins, You should be able to read in fine print the following :

Directions:

The best time to take vitamins or minerals is with meals. Multiples taken between meals sometimes cause stomach upset and are likely not to be as well absorbed.

2 & 3 years of age ? Chew one-half tablet daily. Adults and children 4 years of age and older ? Chew one tablet daily.
