What happens when you produce too much Antidiuretic Hormone (ADH)?

  1. You will retain fluid in the body which can accumulate in the feet and other extremities.  The extra fluid will put a strain on the heart and result in higher blood pressure since the volume of blood will be higher.  Basically all of this is because the kidneys will be letting less water escape into your urine.
