Due to some of my answers I have recieved thus far I feel I must explain, its a question on our dissection lab from today (of a clam) Since we werent given acid the question is extra credit. I have been trying to look it up but without luck.

  2. it might depend on the acid i would think it would shrink

  3. don't waste it on the clam sale it to me im willing to buy some

  4. You end up with a mollusk singing Purple Haze by Jimmy Hendrix!

  5. I imagine, if it's a strong acid, you'd burn it.

  6. I wouldn't reccomend doing that.  PETA would get really mad and hunt you down.

:-)   I think it would burn the clam, but it depends on how strong the acid is.
