What happens when you put antifreeze/coolant into your car without removing the radiator cap?? ?

It goes straight into the reservoir.

  1. When your car cools off, the fact that the coolant in your engine shrinks as it cools causes it to pull coolant from the reservoir into the radiator.

    Some cars don't even use a radiator cap, and the cap on the coolant reservoir maintains system pressure, including the reservoir.


  2. I don't get it , you asked the question and answered it to. Did you not know that's the way some car have it set up to work .
