What happens when you put soda through a water filter (like Brita)?

What if we put Pepsi through the water filter instead of tap water? Would it filter out everything but the pure water? Or what?

you'll filter the metals out of it, but since there are hardly any metals in pepsi, it would still look like pepsi going through.  that would be an interesting experiement though.

I have no idea what would happen but try it just before you replace your filter (so you don't ruin a good filter)
