What happens when you shift to neutral from drive (auto car) when its still moving? And can you shift it back?

Do you shift it back while pressing on the gas pedal or without it?

It's like taking your feet off the gas pedal.  If you press on the gas while it is still in neutral then you'll hear a loud noise, but the car continues to slow down.  You can definitely shift it back.

well nothing bad happens to ur car if that's what u mean but if you want to continue ur trip you should shift back to drive :D, but be careful don't press the gass pedal while shifting back to drive it's bad for ur gear , if you pressed the gas while on neutrale make sure u slown down a bit and that ur RPM is low not more than 3000r/m before u switch back to drive
