What happens when you take 40MG of lexapro

this guy only takes 10mg of lexapro for panic attacks.

what happens if he pops 40 mg instead

I can't speak to the safety of number of mg that can be taken but I would like to comment this. If his prescription says 10mg and that is what his Dr. wants him to take, then he is taking risks by upping his own dosages. He needs to talk to his Dr. about why he feels he needs to take more.

It's safe at 40 mg.  You can go to 50 mg. for OCD.
