I'm sick see, and I couldn't hear properly. Turns out my ears were "popped" like when you're in a plane/driving up a hill and your ears go funny and can't hear right.

I was wondering, Why does this happen/what is happening exactly, and what is the best remedy?

I know of Yawning, Swollowing, and holding your nose and pushing on your breath. Which out of these works best, or is there a better one?

    Get well soon :)

btw as for which of those works best for popping your ears when blocked, it depends on why it's blocked. doctors usually recommend doing the blocking nose method to prevent ear infections etc. and when you're experiencing pressure changes (e.g. in a plane, driving down mountain/whatever) then swallowing/yawning usually is better.
