What happens when your jet ski sucks up a rock?

The thing is my jet ski sucked up a rock and im not sure what happened to it but it wont go more than 5 mph and it vibrates heavily when pushed to more than 3000 rpm. so i looked at the prop and it was a bit bent? so is it the prop whats causing the vibrating do i need a new one? which one should i buy? sea-doo rxp 2004.... thanx a lot!

  1. Hit a log w/ my boat.  Symptoms were the same.  The impeller is broken on your ski.  Check out Ebay first for a new one.  Don't try to straight it yourself.  Not sure of the parts assembly, you my have bent the impeller shaft also.  Hopefully not.  You may want to take this opportunity to change the pitch on the new impeller (for better take off or better top end speed).  This could be a blessing in disguise.


  2. You probably scrapped out the impeller!
