It depends upon your school of thought. Some say the 7th chakra is the crown chakra, some say the 7th is the Third Eye. I myself consider the Third Eye to be the Holiest of Holies where you meet God Face To Face and the 7th chakra. Good thing the Truth is within each of us seek It out as if your life depends upon It because once you find It you'll Know what's what, then no one can deceive you.

You are open to "higher vibrations" just be sure that you close it tight again afterwards, the same as the rest of your chakras.

You become more in touch with the universe and feel more aware of what's going on around you in a more intuitive sense.

You pick up on people's feeling, fears easier which should make you more sensitive.  You will be able to be clear in your thoughts and confident with your psychic ability (if you like).  It will all be more fine tuned.

Don't leave it open through the day or you will become drained and out of balance in all those areas.
