  1. 1. that depends on if your house is old or new? if your house is old and you have rg-59 coax in your house, it may not be able to except the digital signal from the company. if your house is newer, you should have rg-6 much better type of coax and you should have no problem.

2.if you have rg-59 they will tell you that it may need to be changed out, what the cost is, if any I have no idea, either way you will have to get you coax upgraded before next yr if you expect to watch TV once they make the switch.

3.as far as i know you have 2 kinds of digital cable boxes, 1st is a digital dvr receiver, that you can record, pause fast forward live TV. 2ND is the digital receiver without the dvr on it, just watch TV live no recording of TV shows to watch later.

    4. if you have to have your coax switched out in the house just beware of them trying to scam you with some kinda exorbitant charge for doing that. it is a labor intensive job to run new coax in an existing house.

    5. other than anything listed above, it should be basically plug and play.

  2. Cable lines will still be the same as before. You'll also get a new cable box.

  3. You get charged up the tail! I think you get a cable box but all of that depends on your cable company, etc.
