if you mean a gel cell battery, as long as it is a golf cart battery specifically made for golf carts, you might have a problem, the only difference between a Gel cell battery or liquid acid battery is that acid stays in gel form until in use, when gel heats it liquefies. as it cools it re gels. They started making these battery's with gel to help prevent leakage and environmental issues. also they are no maintenance battery's. they are designed so that you cannot access the internal acid chambers like you could on the older versions.
