  1. in my 29 gallon i have a pair if false percula clowns and a coral beauty angelfish and everyone loves the tank and the colors of the fish....

  2. i agree with the damsels.

  3. There are a number of small and very colorful gobies that would work well.  Ocellaris clownfish would work too.  Blue green chromis, firefish, cardinalfish, pseudochromis, six line wrasse, yellowtail damsels...those are just some off the top of my head.  None of those fish are typically very expensive.

Here's a site with a wide assortment of marine fish that you can choose from:

  4. well its hard to find inexpensive saltwater fish...but i would go with some clowns or angels and Goby's are great...

  5. Damsels are the best fish for you.  It sounds like you are just starting off so they are really designed to test the water.  They come in various colors (white/black, black/white, blue, yellow, green, and orange).  The most popular in the damsel family is the one from Finding Nemo (the clownfish).

From a saltwater tank owner (an eel, lionfish, shark, and grouper), I wish you the best!

  6. Well, the real problem is not going over 20$, most saltwater fish do. A pair of clownfish! i think the skunks and percula clowns are cool, you can get a pair of them and if you have the lighting, an anemone.

Edit:I went searching and found these fish, are any of them to your liking?
