  1. "To me he has proven that hes the best driver on the track"

Only in video games, pal only in video games.

Dale Jr. is an average driver and will never win a Cup.

  2. I would say that he has proved that he is a competitive driver.  But beyond that not much else.  He is performing about as well as I predicted when he signed with HMS.  I don't see how you see it as him being the best driver, it's a bit early, and I don't think one year will mean everything.

  3. Jr's not proving much. He's just confirming what some people already knew. The run he had going at Watkins Glen was impressive, however. Other than that, not a lot.

  4. He has proven that, even with better equipment, he's just a good driver, not a great one.

  5. You can be average and still run on your fathers coat tail

  6. everything!

  7. umm i wouldnt consider him the best....

he's proving he's a good driver and it wasnt his fault that he has had such horrible seasons in the past with d.e.i.

he's my favorite driver (jr that is) but so far i think kyle busch is proving he's the best driver on the track.

  8. Wow that's quite a statement to say jr. is the best driver on the track considering what Kyle Busch and even Carl Edwards have done this year. He's proving that Chevy and Hendrick's are no longer the elite of NASCAR, and he never was the best driver in bad equipment now that the field has leveled off a bit.

  9. He has proven that he is not fallable, he is average driver, and his crew chief makes mistakes like everyone else out there

  10. He has proven that he can finish races, just like Kyle has proven he can win and dominate races...thats the new Jeff Gordon...as for Junior he is a older driver and his driving style is not as aggressive, how has he proven he is the best racer? yea i admit he and jeff burton were 2nd and third for the whole year due to consistency but you have to do more than that to win a championship....he is just another driver that is good enough to be in the chase, his name is what makes people expect great things from him, dont look at his name but what he has done on the track, go by that

  11. that busch sucks and is olny good cuz is car is fast and he sucks kyle sucks and JR ROCKS

  12. He has proven that Hendricks made a bad decision letting Kyle Busch go and signing him.

  13. Not the best driver on the track (far from it) but he has proven that he is a better driver than DEI equipment made him out to be. Too some people he will never be able to prove anything no matter what he does because there will always be HATERS.

  14. just like the great Petty name... first there is Richard. and ahem Kyle P. is horrible now it's the Earndharts turn...

  15. Great guy who is a slightly better than average racer.Has had everything handed to him on a silver platter.Doesnt take his racing as seriously as he should, his lifestyle of hanging with his buddies and partying is what leads to his mental mistakes as the race wears on.If your mind and body are not trained to go the distance, chances are they wont.Mental fatigue at 200 mph shows up in the last half of a race.Theresa saw it and basically asked him if he wanted to be a racer or a t shirt salesman.I dont pull for or against him, like i said, its hard not to like him as a person. He was thrust into an impossible situation when Dale died because of dads fan base.He will never be his dad because he doesnt have the talent or the drive.Dale Sr truly came from nothing and that makes a man hard.Jr has never been faced with the prospect of buying a part or paying the house payment.

I've heard Junior on the radio.. he is ridiculously awful to his team, and when it comes to explaining the problem, he can't communicate it, or he'll say he never wants to drive it again.

Why does everyone say Jeff Gordon (I'm a fan of his, won't lie) and other drivers "whine a lot," but no one ever mentions Jr.?

And to think HMS let go of a 23 year old talent with 12 wins in less than 4 years for a 33 year old firefly with 18 wins since 1999. Championship suicide for sure.

For the record, I really like Dale Jr. as a human being, but as a racer, he's no Dale Earnhardt

  16. He is an average midpack driver nowhere near the class of his father

  17. That it wasn't Teresa's fault last year after all. How do the conspiracy nutcases explain his single win this year, since he is supposedly with the best team and owner? Teresa was right to let him leave.

  18. Best driver on the track? According to the system used by the Sprint Cup Series, he is the 4th best driver on the track currently.

Winning one race on fuel mileage, and learning to finally be half-ace consistent doesn't make Jr the best driver on the track.

  19. He's a good driver. But not the best. He's had some pit mistakes and Tony Eury Jr. hasn't made the greatest calls, but he's good. Heck, it was only a few years back he won 6 races. I think it was 2004. I could be wrong.

  20. He has proven he can mesh with a new team and car, do a consistent job.

  21. He has proven, Safer barrier or not, them walls will mess up your car.

  22. he has proven that without DEI's blown engines he can make the Chase and contend for wins each week (or at least most weeks) and can be more of a Championship Contender.

whether or not he wins the championship is reguardless. his haters act as if being 4th in points is average. I guess that makes Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart  are average too since their not 1st in points either.

  23. he has showed that he is still average in great equipment and that he loves to blame everyone for him not wining if i where his crew chief i would quit and let someone else babysit him.

  24. He's proving how average he really is. I mean he's in the #1 equipment which is what Jr nation told us would be all he needs to win the championship this season. But looks ot me like he needs a few more fuel mileag e wins handed to him to even be competitive. He's losing fans

  25. he has proven he is human he makes mistakes but i still am a fan

  26. He has proven that people need to stop comparing him to his father. he will never be as aggressive as his father. NASCAR has changed since Sr. died and they wouldn't tolerate rough driving as much as they did yrs ago. He has also proven that u don't need wins to be in the chase. YOu got to be consistent and that's what he been doing. He also proved that if he had been in better equipment after Sr. died he would of had a championship or two by now. DEI held him back too much.

  27. He's proven a famous last name won't buy you victories, even with Rick Hendrick's money behind you. Sad situation, his better days are past and it's all downhill from here to retirement. Should of stayed with his fathers company, I would at least have respected him more than being the sellout he is now.

  28. He has proven to me that he is not that great of a driver.

  29. He's proven what many people have always felt, that he is a decent, middle of the pack driver but definitely not among the elite.

  30. He has proven that if he gets a good car where the engine does not blow every other race; then he can run up front, have fun and do well in the points.

  31. My fav driver?  Yes.  Best driver on the track?  No.  Improved driver in better equipment?  Definitely.  My question is, why does Jr. have to prove anything?  His fans will support him no matter what.  So who is he proving anything to?  The haters?  Who cares!  He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone.

    Go Jr.>>>>
