What has Obama done for America lately?

Hillary Clinton was there during 9-11. She help rebuild america. She was the pioneer of universal healthcare. She is on the senate arms committee. She is an accomplished writer,mother, activist for the poor. What has Obama done for the poor in this country besides going to church taking contributions from the church, listening to a racist pastor, buying a home from someone that is going to jail . Putting his grandmother down. Where are his parents? Why are they not around. Perhaps because his dad had two wives? My question? What has Obama done for American lately?

He has worked the streets of Chicago organizing and enabling voices of those with lower incomes, never heard his pastor speak ill or racist once, in any sermon when he was present and has denounced that message in detail more than once since, didn't know the shenanigans of that crooked financier until it was divulged, returned that man's campaign contribution immediately, [having bought the lot adjacent to his house from him, not his house from him], explained his grandmother was typical in her fear of blacks....  His mother died fighting for health coverage for her illness.  I may be wrong, but I think his father has also died.

     Clinton works behalf these causes you mention because she's seen the results of that work.  We were all there 9/11, with the claim of backing by binLaden, yet stopped looking for him.  Don't know to what you refer, saying she helped rebuild America.  She can write, she is a mother; but she lacks ethics, confidence and sincerity, and always has.

Come on.  Are you really touting Hillary because she's a writer and a mother?  Obama has written more books, and has sold more of them.  He also has more children to care for, and he doesn't take them into Bosnian war-zones which are under sniper fire.  Moreover, your reference to Reszko is a dangerous stone to throw from the glasshouse of Clinton's whitewater scandal.  Obama's parents passed away when he was young.  Everybody knows that.  How disrespectful and/or uninformed are you?  Even if his dad did have two wives (which I am unaware of), how is that even remotely relevant to anything?

When Clinton supporters can't address her flawed history, they suddenly want to focus on the future.  Nevertheless, her entire campaign has revolved around a delusional attempt to establish that she is somehow more "experienced."  It makes sense that she desperately tries to play up this alleged advantage because she is clearly not the more likeable, articulate, impressive, or inspiring candidate.  But in any event, let's face it: your question is really a tacit way of addressing her superior "experience."

So, here are some brief facts related to experience:

1. Obama has been an elected official for 12 years; Clinton has been an elected official for 7 years.

2.  While in the US Senate, Obama has been significantly responsible for the passage of 2 pieces of legislation; Clinton has also only been responsible for 2 acts of legislation.

3.  During her husband's presidency, Hillary Clinton did not have security clearance to be involved in meaningful matters.  Her involvement was necessarily and legally limited to a ceremonial capacity.

The list goes on, but I will not waste our time continuing because it is apparent that you have no genuine interest in seeking alternative perspectives.  Instead, you are really only searching for validation of your own frustration and insecurity.  Since your allegiance is already formed, blind loyalty prevents logic and truth from serving any purpose.  Instead, they will only invoke the Cheney response when people disagree with him: "so?"

I am amazed at his wisdom.  He is keeping Hillary Clinton tied up in knots.  That's a pretty big accomplishment.

I am not sure I'd vote for Obama, but you gotta give him credit for knowing how to shovel off the attack of the Clinton dirt machine.

Just think about it, First they leaked about him being Islamic radical.  Then they leaked about his being a Christian Radical.  So he waited and then spoke his peace, and ducked out of the way.  

Now the Clinton dirt machine is beating itself from two different directions.  The lies are canceling themselves out...

I am surprised Hillary didn't see that one coming.  

Any one who can outsmart the Clinton machine that smoothly deserves some respect.

this is not an answer but some advise

If you look for the negative, you will always find it. saying that I could say this about Hillary (this is based off of what you stated)

Failed to pass a health care bill, although her election platform promised it.

Voted to attack Iraq even though the majority of congress wanted to let the UN inspectors continue their job (Oh, gee and there were never any weapons of mass destruction, OOPS)

received a large advance from the publisher for a book. Based on normal book writing fees, it was basically a political contribution hidden as work.

Obamas mother died at age 51 from cancer.  His father was in the country on a student visa, and due to the state dept setting quotas for immigration from African nations, couldn't stay after his student visa expired.

There is always more ways to look at an issue, try it, you might become enlightened!

Obama hasn't done anything, he's only been involved with the Federal government for 2 years as senator, it's one of the reasons I'm not voting for him.
