What has Obama done in his life to be able to become President?

Without bringing comparisons, I wonder what this gentleman has accomplished in his life . He is an excellent speaker, offers change and hope. In order to become President, someone has to show more than a smile and nice words.

His accomplishements in Chicago were mediocre and he has only been a Senator for a little over a year. I know he has had dealings with someone who was indicted, had contacts with a couple who were terrorists and attended a Church led by a looney. What else has he done?

if you want an objective response, maybe you should ask an objective question.  yours seems to be written to elicit a certain response from obama bashers.  there are much better ways to ask this question, but you chose to list his 'accomplishments' with a really negative spin on it.  if you want legitimate answers, try being a little less judgmental.
