Now granted she is not my favourite or anything, but the Queen was a mechanic in the Royal Army during the war, she took the role of the head of the monarchy at a young age.  So I would have to say she was a mentor for woman all over the world.  She showed the world that a woman can do a man's job, from fixing army trucks to ruling a kingdom.   She was running a country before woman's liberation......that my friend is social change.......

Queen Elizabeth inherited the throne at a young age,

She did come from a time /culture where women were told what to do

Because she is the Queen and really has no power--she doesn't even vote

Elizabeth does what her ministers tell her to do

but I must say she does it with grace and style
