  2. Run his mouth. Thats all Obamabots need.

He has done NOTHING. ZIP, ZERO, NADA!!!

    McCain 08!!

  3. he vetted a great guy to be our next VP...cant say the same for

    Mc Crackhead....

  4. SOME of you guys need to calm down. Name calling and distortions don't help this situation. Look at the person not the skin. Decide what's important based on substance.

And I've been in church and actually cringed at what a minister said, I definitely did not subscribe to his opinion but that wasn't the opinion of the entire congregation. The church as a WHOLE did really good things. I didn't leave the church based on that one topic.

  5. Never heard of anyone named zero-bama.  Try to make sense next time.

  6. All politicians use writers, you are living in a dream land.

Besides that, graduating college, graduating Harvard Law School, magna laude, being elected and serving with distinction as US Senator, and got nominated Democratic candidate - and yes he will do a good job.

  7. I charge anybody who is on forums like Yahoo! Answers at this point and time, and does not know what either John McCain or Barack Obama have done for this country while in the Senate, should definately go to CSPAN and watch both the DNC and the RNC.  If you are republican, you should have watched both; if you are democrat, you should have watched both.  That's what politics is about; knowing what you are talking about.

I can't believe people still get up here, and pride themselves on showing off their ignorance on such a large scale.  I guess people don't see what all the candidates have done for this country because they choose not to see.  That's reallly childish and ridiculous.

If you're going to fight for something, know what you're fighting for, and what you're fighting against.

Oh, and as for the people who respond like the first person that responded to this question, you are sad and pathetic people.  You may very well be what a lot of Americans want to say, but don't....and that's the sad part about it.

  8. d**n near all politicans speeches are drafted by someone else, so if thats your reason for not supporting him then you are the Zero.

  9. When you tried to get your first job, how would you have felt if the interviewer asked you that question?

  10. THE TRUTH THAT CAN NOT BE OVERLOOKED....

1). his ties to known terrorists, (William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn).

2). his racist preacher(s), (Wright, Jackson, Sharpton).

3). his radical Islamic extremist upbringing.  (his family)

4). his wife, Michelle, who once in her adult life is proud to be an American.

That's good enough for me NOT to vote for someone like this!!!

  11. Obama hasn't really done anything outside being a senator.

  12. Community activist, Illinois Senate 1997-2004,  U.S. Senate 2005-present, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on European Affairs 2007-present

If you haven't, I recommend doing further research of both candidates on your own.

  13. He's gotten us into two fiasco wars, tanked our economy, divided our nation over nonsense issues, had g*y s*x at the airport mens room while acting oh so pious...

    Oh, wait a minute... that's the GOP....sorry...

  14. Unlike Mccain, Obama writes his own speechs.

  15. I thought maybe McCain supporters would leave this argument alone after he picked Palin for VP.

  16. I agree, he has not done much. I mean look at it this way,, I can't

stand Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton. They to me were some of the worst

presidents,, BUT, they had more qualification to be president than Obama because they had both been goveners! Obama has not had any leadership positions such as govener.

Obama is only where he is today because of Oprah (when he was on

her show last year, she was the one saying he should run for president) and the liberal elite media. They treat him like a rock star.

  17. What has Zero-bama done that qualifies him to be President?

He can talk.... and in america that is enough!

Dont u underestimate the stupidity of americans

  18. First legislation, the HOPE Act, which increased Pell Grants to $5100, and later joined Senator Kennedy on the Higher Education legislation that passed July 20, by a vote of 78-18. That legislation also included funding for Predominantly Black Colleges to assist with counseling, tutoring and other needs of low income students. It also creates the Teaching Residency Act which will create a school-based teacher preparation program in high needs schools to provide each teacher with a mentor, content instruction, classroom management skills, a master’s degree and state certification, and a 2 year follow-up program.

This legislation was introduced in December. Smith and Congressman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) sponsored the House version of the bill (H.R. 1302), which passed the House last September.

  19. Uh,he's "entitled"?   He will destroy our country. Wise up Libs.  McCain/Palin 08! Welcome back Bender.

  20. Obama is culturally white but he has adopted an African American identity. He is a clinical narcissist. He is tall and slim and wears nice suits.

That combination is his whole bag of tricks.

  21. Much more than Dead-Cain and Nobody-Palin together

  22. What did Lincoln do that qualified him? What did any president do?  Presidents are elected in a popularity contest, not by some process that gives points for each thing in their resume.

It is a beauty contest, not feeding resumes into a scantron.

We throw our darts at the board and see if the winning candidate is awful or not.

Being in the Senate is just as valid as being a governor. Senators know foreign dignitaries and are far more savy on foregn policy.  Governors have 0 foreign relation experience, but have a better grasp on running an organization and domestic spending.

McCain is reputed to have a lot of foreign relations experience.  There is certainly no denying he has travelled a lot and met with a lot of foreign dignitaries.  He knows the players. BUT...McCain has never been considered a foreign policy guru like Joe Biden or Sam Nunn.  McCain's reputation is pretty much recently created and hedges entirely on him being the architect of 'the surge' --- a military strategy not a foreign policy triumph.   McCain is an old school sabre rattler.  With the issues we are having recruiting and retaining troops, it doesn't seem like a good idea to be practicing sabre rattling with Iran and Russia.

McCain has been quoted extensively that he knows nothing about the economy.  He left the miltary and left his disfigured wife for his young, rich, hot trophy girlfriend--- now Cindy McCain.  McCain was a co-author of the amnesty bill that no one liked and now says he wouldn't have voted for it.

Obama, on the flipside, studied his *** off and got into an Ivy league school becoming a lawyer.  Then he (successfully) ran an organization that got a lot of unemployed people in Chicago working again.  That organization grew under him.  (It has become popular for the republicans to throw Obama under the bus for a lack of "executive expericence" but unlike Palin, who left her home city in debt, Obama worked within a budget and grew that non-profit organization.  He essentially is a successful small buisnessman and a self-made man.)

Obama has co-written 2 peices of legislation with a bi-partisan support.  One involving gun control. One involving Congressional ethics reform and is widely reported to have been a driving force behind senate work to secure nuclear weapons floating around internationally.

Honestly, Obama's resume as a senator over the same time period probably grades out better.  He is doing things the majority of Americans want to see done, unlike McCain.  (Did we want to spend American troops lives in an escalation in Iraq so we could "claim victory"?  Did we want all 11M illegals given citizenship?)

Obama has an extensive network of Midwestern businessmen who support him because they know he will rebuild the economies of the midwestern states by moing the country to renewables.  The midwest will become "America's Middle East" under Obama.  They will produce a lot of the new energy infastructure in the US.

McCain has little business support making it extremely hard for him to raise money and neccessitating the addition of a fund raising chip to his ticket to allow him to pull money from the neo-cons.

Joe Biden has been regarded as one of America's leading voices on foreign policy --- regardless of parties --- for at least the last 10 years.  When Mushareff took control of Pakistan, our government had a lot of trouble getting ahold of him.  Biden called Musharreff on his Cell phone and told him to step down, which Mushareff did.  Biden is pretty damned well connected.  He is like a non-evil version of d**k Cheney and is a tremendous bump to the Obama ticket.

McCain picked the Governor of Alaska to be his VP.  And not someone who has served for 10 or 20 years as the Governor of alaska...She has served 20 months in a position that is the equiviant of the mayor of Austin, TX.

Obama has had his policies spelled out in great detail on his site for over 6 months.  His speech at the Democratic convention laid out everything he is going to try to accomplish in great detail.

McCain has not said anything about how he intends to put people back to work in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, or Pennsylvania.  Frankly, he has no plans to help those people.  He is going to cut the taxes on their non-existant jobs and wait for the rich to come flooding back in to give jobs to union workers in those states.  (Afterall, we all know how much the rich LOVE dealing with unions...)

I'd rather have a President who isn't talking about pissing away America's wealth on having us continue to be chained to Middle eastern Oil and trying to fight additional expensive wars.

Truly one of the campaigns has no substance, but that campaign is McCain's.

  23. You do know that the republicans have speech writers too. The whole election campaign is a circus these days.  Out of the millions of Americans in that country Obama/Bidden & McCain/Palin is the best America can come up with.  God help America!

  24. Nothing. He meets the criteria for what is needed but he has no experience at all.

  25. Wrote a book that embellishes his peripheral involvement in social movements and events in the Chicago area.  He also romanticized the relationship he had with that drunk Kenyan he called a father that the liberal tramp who spawned him.

  26. 1. Hes black

    2. He's liberal

    3. He's accomplished nothing

    Thats good enough for Obambots

  27. Since he haven't done nothing and he is not qualified how come how come he is one of the the top runners??? Well he had enough sense to vote against that Bush and Cheney's Worthless Oil War that have gotton a lot of our troops killed and wounded!!!

  28. 4 more years!
