  1. The short answer is not enough.  The latest press release from the US Govmt was that they are looking into technologies to employ so that their rate of increase of pollution levels out by 2050 or some ridiculous date; that means we have another 30+ years of INCREASING total rate of emissions before the rate is zero.

That does not mean zero emissions; that means no further increase.  Nowhere in this was any mention of any REDUCTION in emissions.

Very few countries are moving towards a no-emissions target, though one that is is New Zealand.

  2. im my opinion, i dont there has been anything significant that has been done about this issue.  our president says he will do all these thing to reduce global warming, has he done anything worth talking about, no.

  3. i have learned from my envi science class that "Carbon Credits" has been implemented by different countries to lessen the effects of global warming..

Carbon credits is an activity where countries who have carbon dioxide emissions below the agreed limit will be given monetary incentives by countries whose carbon dioxide emissions exceed the limit.

i think that if this continues to be done, global warming will not affect us so much anymore because its effects are lessened. .
