What has been the effect of the northern california fires on telecommunication systems?

has there been any problems with telecommunications systems and/or infastructure being immobilzed by the fires? how have residents been notified and/or evacuated from these areas?

To my knowledge, there haven't been any problems with telecommunications. Many residents that have been evacuated were called using the reverse 911 system. Others were notified by local police/sheriff, neighbors and the news.
