  1. Iraq, Guantanamo Bay and torture, campaign for US Presidency, London police killing innocent man by mistake on subway, Dianna inquest, decline in popularity of Labour Party and Gordon Brown, Collapse of Northern Rock bank followed by nationalisation, sub prime mortgage banking crisis in USA and UK, Oil at record high, currently about 128 dollars a barrel, John Howard losing to Kevin Rudd in Australia, allegations of corruption in Zimbabwe elections by Robert Mugabe and Zanu-PF Party, China being criticised about human rights on run up to the Olympics which they are hosting, China criticised over human rights in their handling of Tibet, storm damage in Myanmar and international help rejected by military government, earthquakes in China kill over 150,000 people.

  2. Graham H has some memory!

Lets add a few daily pieces of Government sponsored media fodder that where never to happen.

Non -job seekers being kicked out of their council houses.

    Abusive neighbours                        ditto.

    Road charging.

    Immigrant deposits on arrival.

    Metal detectors at schools.

    Harmanns expenses.

    Hains expenses.

    Bernard Mathews bird flu.

  3. I think your first answerer has just about covered it! Apart from the 'infamous' McCann's. Mostly they have had coverage in their favour but the Express who begged to differ paid a small price... Since then, it seems a new law has evolved, 'Child neglect is now fully accepted' !! Thanks to the McConn's, their equally neglectful cronies and massive gullible fan base and most importantly, the world and his brother... Power and money is clever but not clever enough for the truth, which patience awaits...

  4. Being English it has to be Brown and his pathetic Government. This man is about as popular as a f**t in a space suit but he and his cronies are still there.

  5. Graham covers most of it but he forgot the 'lost data discs.'

    Remember that debacle?
