What has been your experience with Subway's Five Dollar Foot Long?

I haven't experienced it myself but from my past experiences at Subway have been of less than stellar satisfaction. What would you suggest if I do go?

they just upped the price...what you get is a bread sandwich with scarce meat for $7-...not worth it!

If your on a tight budget for lunches Subways 5$ deal is a good one, half one day half another day. Personally cause I worked at one for almost 5 yrs I say stay as far away as you can but hey thats just me. So give it a try one more time and if its still undesireable food dont go again.

I don't know what they mean by $5 Foot Long..because I've never been able to buy it for 5 bucks...

I asked the clerk which ones are $5, and I order the one that he said $5.  

It was not even $5!!!!! with tax, I was charged $6.99 just for a sandwich. why???

I like their sandwiches, but five dollar Foot Long deal is so weird lol

i love subway. the $5 foot longs are the same as the 6 inch....only bigger and a better price.  my favorite is the subway club with lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, black olives and mayo.

Well, go to Quiznos instead if you're looking for a five dollar deal. But at Subway I like the turkey on wheat with olives, onions, spinach, lettuce,pickles, and provolone cheese. Pretty good sandwich.

Our small city has 3 Subways.  One I wouldn't go to, the other 2 are ok.  One is really good and I drive across town to go to it.  They are only as good as their employees.  Try another Subway.  My daughter and I go in and they let us split one as long as the bread and meat are the same.  We both eat for the 5 bucks and I always get lots of veggies on mine, YUM.

i recommend the turkey with swiss..

i like the meatball one or the one with bbq meat. also go to chipotle if they a one near u...they have some reallllllllyy good food.

being in college, any type of food as cheap as 5 dollars is pretty sweet.

BUT- if you reaaally wanna get a better sandwich for 5 dollars, GO TO QUIZNOS! they have 5 dollar large (12in) sandwiches too and the quality is waaaaay better!

Either you like Subway or you don't.  I prefer a basic sandwich with everything on it (all the veggies & peppers) with the sweet onion sauce.  I would also recommend getting the bread toasted.

It just tastes better than a sloppy, messy hamburger.  McDonalds is terrible, if I want a burger, I prefer Burger King, at least the burger isn't a mess . . .

I used to like Arby's but they "reformulated" their product . . . my favorite was the Super . . . I was a long time customer . . . about the second time I paid $8 bucks for regular sized roast beef sandwich, I emailed Arbys corporate and actually had a area rep call me . . . I told them I would never go to their resturaunts again . . . they don't care . . .

So . . . Subway and Burger King are my favorites now . . .
