  1. You might also want to try CruiseCritic.com; click on "Boards", then go to "Disney Cruise Lines".

  2. This has been the only cruise I've been on.  Kids were 12 & 15.  My hubby didn't want to go 'cause he'd think there'd be kids everywhere!  We got an average count of kids on the boat somehow but my husband was impressed that it didn't even come close to feeling that way.  We both agreed there wasn't any Mickey Mouse overload.  My hubby is not a Disney fan but really enjoyed the cruise....especially meals :)  They had plenty of adult classes.  My younger child had so much fun as she had so much freedom....although we did have specific check-in times with each other throughout the day.

  3. We had a really good experience with our Disney cruise. I would agree with the other person.

I have a full review of our cruise on webtravelreviews.com

  4. We had a fantastic expierence sailing with Disney.  Its Disney and they do it right.  If its within your budget go for it.  If not consider Royal Caribbean for your second choice.

I would have liked to see more seafood choices and the excursions we took always happened around lunch time so we often ate of the ship on our own dime or we had a late lunch which then conflicted with our early seating for dinner.

  6. Disney was a good overall experience.  The ship was exceptionally clean, all of the staff was very well versed in dealing with children, the cabins were nice, and they are the masters of logistics.

We introduced at the time 5 and 7 year old daughters to cruising with a Disney cruise.  They loved it!

However, the Disney cruise is not an adult cruise that accomodates children.  It is a children's cruise that accomodates adults.

    Mickey Mouse overload!

If you have older kids in the group, say 10- and above, you might want to consider Carnival.  It is more economical and the older the kids get, the more they seem to prefer the environment on Carnival versus Disney.
