Maybe I'm biased in my dislike for ESPN Nascar coverage, but I really noticed a whole lot of commercials yesterday. I had to work and recorded the race and found myself fast forwarding over and over and over. I can understand extra commercials during the rain delay, but it didn't seem to not matter to ESPN whether they were green, yellow, or red. So what has been your favorite Nascar broadcast network this year? I like TNT the best, even though they had the least amount of races.

  1. FOX

  2. FOX, TNT was the worst

  3. i like TNT because they have Wide Open Coverage

  4. FOX is the only broadcast network that's carried the races so far this year.  ABC hasn't had any races, and TNT and ESPN are cable networks.  But anyway, I don't think there's been a best network this year.  So, I'll say I liked FOX's camera work, but TNT's commentary.  Kyle Petty is awesome as a color commentator...

  5. I liked TNT's wide open coverage. But I feel Fox has the better broadcasts. I dont care what net work it is, I HATE it when they come back from a break, say.. " We are under green here at...., and we will be back after this". And go into another 4 minutes of commercials. Thats why I have been recording the races, and start watching them an hour after it starts and fast forward thew all that none sence.

  6. ESPN

Same amount of commercials every weekend for 8 years.

  7. TNT ALL the way!!

  8. I agree with you on TNT, I think they have done the best this year. And I'm also probably a little biased saying this because my guy actually got a top 5 yesterday, but I thought ESPN did a better than average job of broadcasting the race. There was good coverage of all the drivers (not just Kyle and Jr like its been a lot of the year) and they did a good job of showing all the action throughout the field.

  9. ESPN is way better than TNT. I liked ESPN's coverage at Pocono. But then again I just like NASCAR. FOX is the most fun though, with DW getting all funny and s**t

  10. F O X

  11. Fox, hands down best coverage.  TNT, by far the worst with those constant self serving promos of their own programming that makes  everybody hate the show before it even airs.  Wally D. is horrible.

ESPN hasn't been so bad, so far.  The Cup team I mean.

Rusty Wallace is like chalk on a black board and Brad D adds nothing.

  12. To me, they all strengths and they all have weaknesses. I guess if I had to choose one it'd be TNT. But I would love to see a NASCAR NETWORK to where it's the same announcers, host/hostess, pit reporters, etc etc for the entire season just broadcast on the different networks when it's their turn to carry races. Take the strengths from each network and leave the Rusty Wallaces of each network at the house. Just my opinion.

  13. I love the FOX coverage they have the best announcers and really good camera crew.

  14. Fox 5 as network; D. Waltrip as announcer.

  15. Fox.

But it's because Darrell Waltrip was my favorite driver, it's a bias thing.

If it weren't for him being on there, I'd say ESPN.

Despite his lack of commentating talents, I actually enjoy Rusty Wallace's take on things. (don't shoot)

  16. i think fox is the funniest and the least annoying
