  1. Hawaii for sure.

I live in SD right now.  Sure, we've got tons of surf here, with miles of different types of lineups.

But so does Hawaii.  And the only thing that compares to the North Shore in San Diego is Black's Beach, but not even close.  And since it's huge and not easy to get to, Cortez Bank is the only thing similar to Waimea.

But the best part of Hawaii... boardshorts almost all year round.  I don't think I've ever had to wear anything more than a spring suit there.

Only problem with Hawaii... you can get "cabin fever" easily as the islands are small.  At least with San Diego, there are multiple places to travel to from there.

But surfing... and most other water sports... Hawaii takes it all between the two.

  2. Most Deff. Hawaii because it is known for its surfing destinations

  3. hawaii is the best one for an arial surfer and san diego is better for a surfer thats more agressive on the wave like, when you do lots of floaters your an agressive surfer when you get lots of air your arial, Ive surfed both places and personally I liked Hawaii a little bit better because it was good in both arial and agressive but not great in either but when I went to San Diego I got to practice all of my agressive tricks.

  4. Thats the stupidest question I've ever heard. I can't begin to tell you how inane you feeble mind is, to seriously want an answer to the lamest, pathetic kook mindset you have. It's a sad day.

  5. Hawaii,  but like the first answer says it depends on the time of the year.  Lived in San Diego and have been to Hawaii numberous times.

  6. Hawaii of course, any time of the year average surf is 2-4ft.

Except in the winter time. North shore, gets BIG. 6-10ft.

Then the mountains come rolling in. 15-30ft.

    Big enough?

  7. It depends on the time of year - Lived there.

  8. Hawaii.... they always hold the contest there well the major ones and they are always getting huge waves because of were they are... close to  the equater and they some currents down there.

  9. your joking?right?

  10. this is a silly question.

Hawaii. you have short boarding spots, longboarding, body boarding, body surfing whatever! on all the islands, surf all year round and never have to wear a wet suit. warm water and a beautiful atmosphere.

  11. if you live in Hawaii, is Hawaii.  if you live in San Diego, is San Diego. i live in puerto Rico , so for me is puerto Rico couse i am in the water every time it breaks.
