What has happened to my computer?

I opened a windows media player file the other night, it had a .ink extention.

Now all my icons have been taken over and no matter which I clik on they all open the media player. Any ideas?

So go to malwarebytes.org and get antimalware. run that. run cleanup 4.0 too.

I think your shoretcuts had Lnk extensions which is mormal. After you do those things, run Defrag. this puts all the files whwere they belong. Windows cannot find your files, the ones that are associated with your shortcuts.
