What has happened to my xbox??? HELP!?

i bought my mum an xbox and i inserted a dvd and it failed to play. Then i put in a game called "playstation 3: Resistance fall of men". This also failed to play. I phoned up the shop which i brought it from but they hung up on me everytime i tried to talk to them. WHAT SHOULD I DO :(?????

clean the disc with wire wool and some bamnamba then remove the x from the top of he console and write " playstation 9..submerged " on it . also write "compatable with everyfink" underneath..

then if it doesnt work scratch PAL onto the case of the game and NTSC REGION blah onto the console and in the instruction book..

write  a stiff letter to the shop.

Why did you put a PlayStation 3 game in there? It's obvious it won't play because Resistance: Fall of Man was made for PlayStation 3 not XBOX 360. Anyway, try an XBOX 360 game and see if that works, also try another DVD. If neither work, you were sold a defective XBOX 360

EDIT: Are you talking about the original XBOX? If you are you need to buy the DVD Playback kit to play DVDs and only XBOX 1 games will work so anything that says PlayStation3 will not

Try putting resistance fall of man xbox in your ps3. See if that works.

for one i think the game you tried to play is not an Xbox game you tried to play a completely different console game you need to buy xbox games and  if you tried to play a HD  then that will also not work!

first off you tried putting a ps3 game in a xbox 360 resistance fall of man is a ps3 game and therefore will only work on the ps3 and it is mostly like you put in a blu ray movie on the 360 but the 360 doesnt play blu ray so next time use your f***ing common sense

and it wont play DVDs because you need a remote for the X-box - you plug it in the X-box and it works

xbox doesnt play blueray or dvds you burned yourself and it doesnt play playsation 3 games either
