What has happened to the Democrats to drive moderate Dem. Joe Lieberman into the arms of John McCain?

Joe hasn't changed since he ran against Bush in 2000, so either the libs' chants of "McBush" are hallow or the DNC has completely driven off the left hand side of the road (or both). What say you?

Joe Lieberman is just one guy.  Big deal.  

Probably a lot goes on behind the scenes that we do not know about.

Is scary to think that he might have been a Republican vice president.

The Dems have just gone TOO far to the left, and are really out of touch with the mainstream American voter now. They have developed a habit of putting forth candidates that are too far-left to have any chance of winning a presidential election.

The party has swung so far to the left that they are losing a lot of us.  Obama is the most liberal Senator in Washington, as far left wing radical as you can get, to the point of being associated with domestic terrorists and anti-American churches.  The moveon.org crowd has taken over the party.  Moderates like me, Joe, and Hillary, are no longer welcome.

Joe became a Chickenhawk in the interim and a cheer leader for Bush failed policy's while the rest of the party moved forward with a better agendas for the country

Joe is a traitor at worst and an idiot at best
