This has been a rubbish summer with just one week of good sunshine!

  2. Now they call it "climate change" - rubbish summers are now supposedly our fault too.

    Just remember, no matter what happens, it's our fault.

    I thought getting divorced meant I no longer had to hear that BS but I still hear it from the radical environmentalists.

    And Chris, the Carolinas were the one area in the Southeast US that was hot like that.

  7. it ahs been realised that calling it Global Warming may be misleading, so now they call it "Climate Change" so the Government can still keep belting us with extra taxes.

  8. Don't you know that having an average summer proves conclusively that global warming exists?  Just ask all the experts...as soon as they get of work at McDonald's.

Global Warming is a one degree average change which occurs over a period of time spanning half a century or more.  It's not something that you're going to notice just stepping outside of your house.  It might be cool one day and warm the next, and it could even be pleasant all summer for the next hundred years.  The problem is the effect that a long term rise in global temperatures by one degree could have on the oceans and on very sensitive climates which are on the brink just by their very nature (like the polar ice sheets).

    Btw, it was close to a hundred degrees all June here in North Carolina.  Not saying that's caused by Global Warming, but the temperature where you live and the temperature somewhere else could be very different.

    a few years ago 3000 people died in Europe related to Global warming

    The average death toll is 15.000 annually.

    the Water in the polar sea is toxic and the meat from fish and polar bears have very high Mercury levels,due to accumulated toxins from the melting ice.

    algae are becoming invasive and killing coral reefs because of warmer waters

Climate change is all natural, man isn't involved in the process.  Where I live it's been colder than normal and we've had more precipitation for the past 15 months.  That isn't weather, or global warming either.  It's global cooling, which I now think is a fact.  But there's nothing we can do about it, it's always gone on and always will, purely natural.

  15. well as I understand Global warming IS happening. You see some scientists believe that our world has warm points and cold points. Such as The Ice Age. That's my understanding. Hope that helped. :D

  19. Global Warming produces "climate change", you could get hot or cooler weather other than normal for your area.It is very unpredictable.

  20. That doesn't mean that global warming isn't happening. As the Earth heats up, you're more likely to get warm, wet summers, rather than hot, dry ones.

  21. Solar Cycle 24 happened...er, hasn't...the Sun's gone inactive.  Turns out, it has been causing this warming trend the entire time.
