  1. has made my head hurt.. its really opened my eyes to life, its origins and how its evolutionised...

its also made me understand that there is so much out there, that we havent yet discovered..

    but i love it

  2. I made it my profession!  I've been teaching biology, botany, and microbiology for thirty-nine years.  I also was a teaching assistant while I was earning my Master's degree!

My former students have become teachers, physicians, dentists, veterinarians, CPAs, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, agriculture inspectors, professors and researchers in biology!

I've done consulting work as well such as identifying a bacterial pathogen causing tomato plants to rot in a hydroponic farm and suggested a successful protocol to prevent further damage.

I got to travel to Guatemala to collect plants for a national herbarium, all expenses paid.

  3. It gave me my first career in neurophysiology and neuroanatomy.  I learned a great deal about the brain.

It also gave me a good perspective on life, especially the concept that humans are not the center of life or the goal of evolution.
