The gin will.  For sake of discussion, a regular beer is 5%, a light beer is 4.2% and an average microbrew is 6%.  None of those come close to the 3 oz gin, which is a double shot atleast.

Depends on the beer, really.  I've had beers tthat were 2% alcohol to beers that were 25% alcohol.
