  1. Harvard Law, Community Organizer, State Senator, U.S. Senator to me is much better than PTA mom, Mayor of a town half the size of the audience she just spoke to, and Governor of Alaska for about a week and a half (okay a year and a half).  Given that, she seems like a nice person, but not nice enough to vote for McCain over Obama, by any means.

Say goodbye to the experience strategy.

  2. Let's see, we are talking about the Governor of one of the smallest states (in population) in the U.S. right?  I think in this case, community organizer.

  3. Ha ha.  Governor.

I didnt think that Obama supporters would have the nerve to go there.  Unbelievable!

  4. Think about how many governors have become president versus congressmen or senators.  Governors actual run economies and manage real-time issues every day.  They have much more applicable experience than do members of congress.

  5. How about being US senator for four years, state senator for eight years, constitutional law professor for 12 years, and civil rights lawyer for another 4 years, on top of being a community organizer?

Or does being Governor for less then 2 years in one of the most corrupt states in the country, who receive 17 times as much money from the federal government as they produce, make one more qualified then Obama? And then not even managing to avoid a scandal in that time either? And that is not even taking into account Biden's experience, which is much greater then McCain's experience for that matter.

  6. Governor. Voting present doesn't count either.

  7. A community organizer has a better perspective of what is going on at the bottom but a governor has a better chance of getting things accomplished. It depends on your perspective, but most people would say the governor.

  8. Being a governor, obviously.

  9. You're kidding yourself. Being a woman with a kid that has down syndrome does not qualify you as being a strong candidate for any political office. And that's about all she has got going for her, because she sure hasn't done anything as Governor. When I think of the VP debate next month, I almost feel sorry for her.

  10. I would like to see her go against Obama joe Biden in a game of one-on-one (she was on an actual basketball team), I bet she would win.

In my mind, a mayor and governor does a lot more than a "community activist" and senator with the same number of years experience - She has actually run something for a living! She also went after a corrupt member of her own party (usually political suicide) and won, that's the kind of community activist I want. And she isn't too bad looking either. And I bet she probably knows the difference between a battalion and brigade.

  11. Community organizer is a simile for rabble rouser.

Governor is an elected position with greater responsibility for the welfare of huge numbers of people.

Obama has never held a real job or had to worry about where his next meakl is coming from.

Yet he wants to tell us how to live our lives.

We don;t need socialism in America.

You need help with math and veracity: You;ve accounted 'for 30 years of Obama's 46 total. That means he graduated from Harvard at age 12 and Law school at age 16.  Well done.

By the way, he was never  a law professor. He was a graduate assistant and did not teach constitutional law.

  12. It's not a fair question. Obama has been Senator for four years, and Palin has been Governor for two years. If you are going to compare pre-government careers you need to contrast them equally.

    --------------------

There are a lot of single issue pro-life voters out there. In addition there are a lot of people who like attractive well-spoken people. Palin may not be a replacement for Hillary and a blatant political move for tens of millions of supporters, but she may win that critical undecided vote in the battleground states. This election is going to be decided by about 2-3 million people in a handful of states.

  13. Governor.  Obama's finished.
